Every partnership with us for both catering and training is a worthy venture that makes our clients ask for more.
We offer both indoor and outdoor catering services for your parties, formal and informal gatherings, and end-of-the-year events. We also supply quality and tasty meals (Breakfast/Tea-break/Lunch) for the Organization’s AGMs, Board meetings, Executive meetings, Periodic meetings, and Training programs
Our Institute stands on two pillars: Excellent Catering and Training services. We do not just cook delicious meals; we also train others to do so. With the expertise of our team of professional cooks and certified Chefs, we make you a chef in your home. Online courses are available on the website while students take practical and hands-on courses at the cooking school premises.

Lovesgateau Catering and Training Institute derives its name from the proprietress, Mrs. Love Abiola Udohfia, and ‘Gateau’, the French word for ‘Cake’. The institute is a subsidiary of a registered Catering service named Lovesgateau Catering Services with registration number BN 2045764. It is located at Block G2 A, 2nd Avenue, Sunnyvale Homes, Dakwo District, Abuja, Nigeria.
The Catering Service started in Jos, Plateau state in February 2002 out of the desire to provide good, healthy, and tasty meals to everyone at affordable prices within the shortest time possible. The Training Institute which is a subsidiary of the catering service started on July 22nd, 2017 as a result of many requests from our clients who want to learn how we come about such tasty meals and excellent services. We offer training to individuals (both males and females) or groups, Housewives, Caterers, Domestic cooks, Chefs, etc. Our schedules are planned to suit your needs.

About Mrs. Love Udohfia

Mrs. Love Abiola Udohfia is a graduate of Hotel and catering management from Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos. She has a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and a Masters degree in Administration and planning. In the mid-1990s she worked as a waitress, Order-taker, and Chef with the former Eko Le Meridien (now Eko Hotel ), Victoria Island, and the Old Ikoyi Hotel (now Southern Sun Hotel), Ikoyi, both in Lagos state. She managed the staff canteen of the defunct All States Trust Bank and Oceanic Bank, both at Ahmadu Bello Way and Diamond Bank Bukuru Road, Jos between 2002-2006. She is a seasoned Chef and excellent tutor with vast cooking and catering experience that spans over two decades.

Lovesgateau Catering Services was registered in 2007 by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), while Lovesgateau Training Institute was accredited and given full approval by the Federal Capital Department of Mass Education in December 2020 to run training and issue certificates in Catering services, Home management, Baking, Event management and other area of our competences. Therefore, whether what you need is for a personal or domestic upgrade in your cooking skills, a commercial food vendor or baker seeking to improve your skills, or a Chef looking for a refresher course for continuous professional development (CPD), we have what you need. We build capacity for everyone going through our Training Institute so as to provide employment and income for the needy.

We have a place for everyone: Housewives seeking to get better in domestic cooking, Students who want to learn how to cook, and Graduates or anyone who wants to take commercial cooking as a second career or for business.
